Centrepoint Alliance is committed to keeping up to date with the latest industry developments and compliance requirements. Our affiliations with the following industry groups ensure we operate under a strict code of ethics and compliance guidelines.

ANZIIF (The Australian and New Zealand Institute if Insurance and Finance)

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance is the leading provider of education, training and professional development services to the insurance and financial services industry in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.

MFAA (Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia)

The MFAA is a national industry body representing over 10,000 members. It advocates ethical business practice, works closely with both national and state governments, offers industry specific education as well as information to its members on compliance, legal and consumer matters. Their mission is simply "to ensure the orderly and ethical working of the Mortgage Industry in Australia".

FBAA (Finance Brokers Association of Australia)

The FBAA is also a national industry body representing all finance and mortgage brokers. One of its key functions is to act as a lobbyist to both the various state and federal governments. Its objectives are based on integrity, personal growth, representation, organisation and management standards.

COSL (Credit Ombudsman Service Limited)

Centrepoint Finance Pty Ltd 411847 and Centrepoint Finance WA Pty Ltd 404194 - "Membership of COSL and the use of the COSL Logo is not to be taken as an endorsement by COSL of the Member, its products, services, or financial position."

COSL provides a free, independent dispute resolution service for the credit industry. They investigate complaints on the consumer's behalf. If a dispute cannot be resolved with the member concerned (i.e. the broker, or lender) COSL will endeavour to resolve the complaint through conciliation. If needed they can make a decision called an award that is binding to the member concerned. More details are available at www.creditombudsman.com.au.
