Establishment of Representation in Warrnambool Victoria

We are pleased to announce the expansion of the Centrepoint Group into Warrnambool Victoria.
Errol Stewart and Ray Wain have joined the group to provide Equipment and Commercial Finance products to clients in south west Victoria.

Glenn Scotter and Jeremy Doyle have both joined the Group with immediate effect and bring with them significant experience in the finance broking industry in Western Australia.

Acquisition of Centrepoint Finance
On 31st December 2008, shareholders comprising Management and Staff acquired 100% of the shares in Centrepoint Finance Pty Ltd from the listed entity Centrepoint Alliance Limited (ASX Code CAF)
This acquisition formally removed Centrepoint Finance Pty Ltd from the Centrepoint Alliance Group returning the business to private and independent ownership.
Managing Director and CEO of Centrepoint Finance Pty Ltd Stephen Day commented, “The acquisition marks the start of a re-focussed finance broking business committed to sustainable profitability and the pursuit of growth”
“We are well capitalised, have a solid balance sheet and the lower cost structure associated with private ownership will ensure a boost in profitability and effectiveness” Day said.
“Whilst we are no longer part of the Centrepoint Alliance Group, we remain on good terms and will continue to utilise their premium funding services on behalf of our clients under commercial arrangements”.
